Nutrition Label - 4 Deciphering Tips!

One of the great marvels of modern science: the surprisingly complicated nutrition label.
Here's the scene: You're standing in the aisle of the grocery store, staring at the enticing labels and packaging of the foods you are considering adding to your increasingly full shopping cart.
One says "Extra Healthy" right on it, whereas another one reads "For a Healthy Diet" or some other play on a disappointingly false statement. What about "Low Fat" vs. "Less Fat" and the infinite possibilities continue... which do you buy?

Well, there's no truly easy answer to that. Clearly the goal in this scenario is to find the healthier food, but how can we make that determination based on what a well-thought-out marketing label is telling us?

The key is to make sure you're checking the right label and the important information. And no, it's not the gimmicky, brightly-colored cartoon characters on the front; the label you should be checking is the nutrition label.

How to Read Nutrition Labels

First, check to see if the food contains any unhealthy fats. These would be your trans fats, in some cases your saturated fats, or perhaps even interesterified or stearate-rich oils.

Second, pay attention to the amount of sugar. Do your best to avoid foods that contain too much. Not only will it elevate your blood glucose levels, but it may lead to added weight gain and several other health complications.
Especially, be wary of "drinking" too many calories that come from high-sugar drinks such as soda and fruit juice. You want to enjoy your calories from healthy solid foods, not waste them on a few gulps of liquefied sugar.

Third, look for foods high in fiber. Basically, the more, the better. Apples and other fruits and vegetables are a great source, and you're probably getting far less fiber than you need.

Lastly, examine the overall number of ingredients. In most cases, more ingredients means you're holding in your hand a highly-process and unhealthy "food."

Yoga - The Perfect New Year's Resolution

There is a case to be made for the practice of yoga as the perfect or universal New Year's resolution. Stop and think about the focus of most resolutions and the various reasons people chose to make them part of their New Year goal setting. An acquaintance recently shared, that a study done in Pittsburgh found that the number one New Year's resolution was to send more time with family, friends and to work on relationships. I have not tried to verify that, but I will admit to being a bit surprised, as I would have bet serious money that weight loss, diet, fitness and all of the getting healthy resolutions would have nailed the top spots before relationships. Since I tend to make pretty quirky resolutions, I certainly can't hold myself up as a standard. I am guessing that pursuing the perfect martini, stop wearing ties, get more shoe shines and catching up on my Tivo list are not common to most resolution lists. Last year's goals to reduce the clutter in my life and to use an electric toothbrush resulted in marginal success.

A New Year's resolution to practice Yoga has amazing potential. Think about a resolution to reduce the stress in your life. The number one practice for reducing or coping with stress is exercise. Whatever your exercise goal, yoga has a variation or level that allows for improved conditioning and fitness. Whether you practice "gentle yoga" or "power yoga," the potential for improving your muscle tone, flexibility and balance will be realized with consistent practice. Layered on top of the fitness potential for reducing stress, yoga adds breathing techniques that produce a slower heart rate, reduce blood pressure and have a calming effect with practice. The next layer can be meditation, which can bring peace of mind and self-realization. Do you see why we are looking at an incredible stress management program with yoga?

Think about the stress reduction goal we just outlined. It is also an exercise goal. The improved conditioning from the exercise can also support a weight loss goal. Stress management, exercise, weight loss, lower blood pressure, and greater peace of mind all rolled into one New Year's resolution. A regular yoga program can also provide information on healthy eating, moderation, and with more discipline in your life, it could even carry over to getting organized and reducing the clutter in your life. It may be a small stretch but all of these lifestyle enhancements from yoga could lead to improvements in your relationships.

A Pilates DVD To Keep You In Shape

Pilates is all the rage in just about every gym and health club across the USA and the world. It is an excellent method of exercising that helps you get into shape without making you sore. Whoever came up with the slogan 'no pain no gain' obviously wasn't thinking of Pilates when they said it!

Pilates exercise was named after Joseph Pilates. During the early 1900s he was a boxer, living in England. During WWI, Pilates a German prisoner of war and he came up with his exercise system based on yoga, Zen philosophy, and many exercises he had found in Roman and Greek history. His method become a whole body approach to health and benefited many of his fellow prisoners of war improving their health and chance of survival.
The modern version of the Pilates prison camp workout is a series of exercises that improve the strength and flexibility of your body through a series of coordinated stretching and balancing exercises.
The Pilates Method can improve the following areas or conditions of your body:

Injury Prevention & Recovery

Improved Alignment

Enhanced Breathing & Circulation

Increased Strength, Flexibility & Balance

Improved Muscle Tone, Energy & Mental Concentration.

Pilates is recommended by chiropractors the help strengthen the back and spine. After using the Pilates system consistently for several weeks a person will notice increased mobility in the joints, improved circulation, a flatter stomach, and a thinner waist and thighs. Pilates can also help strengthen the body from the inside out by focusing on the whole body and whole body movements which help blood flow to almost all of your organs which in turn helps to relieve stress and anxiety.

Perhaps the best part of Pilates is the fact that it can be done from the privacy of your own living room. That's right, with the quality of Pilates DVDs you can pop a disc into your player, move the coffee table out of the way and you are exercising before you know it. Going to the gym is great but many people feel self conscious and people look over at them and watch them exercise. This is especially true of people who are shy or perhaps a little overweight or maybe a lot overweight to the point where they don't want to go out of their home.

With a Pilates DVD, you don't have to go out of your home which makes it much easier for people to work out. Sometimes people who want to work out don't live close to the gym or it takes 15 to 20 minutes to get there. Before you know it you have spent an hour commuting back and forth to the gym and who has that kind of time?

Because Pilates is such a low impact routine, it is very attractive to those recovering from an injury, the eldery, and the overweight. By increasing circulation Pilates helps to reduce weight gradually.
The benefits of Pilates are many and the best part is it can be done right in the privacy of your own home with a high quality Pilates DVD.
If you are looking to get started in pilates and want simple easy to follow guidence, take a look at my new online training program so you too can enjoy the amazing benefits that pilates brings.

Some Important Yoga Exercises

Ever considered practicing some yoga exercises? Its all too common for people who don't exercise at all to often cite the reason that they are just too busy to get to the gym. What these folks don't realize is that they are placing themselves at risk to various diseases caused by too much stress and a sedentary lifestyle.

It is pretty much an accepted fact now after much research that exercise and physical activity help the body cope with stress and improves a person's overall Health. However, the demands of our daily lives increase very rapidly as we live our lives and our responsibilities increase. Work, spouse, kids, Church, activities, family, it all takes time and it seems for most of us exercise is a low enough priority that it keeps getting pushed lower and lower.
The important thing to remember is that if you aren't living, then you don't have HEALTH! Health should be our # 1 priority because we all want to keep on living! If people are unhealthy, they are less productive and when you are less productive it gets harder and harder to achieve our goals.

Think about this for a minute, how much time do you spend at work? scary when you add up the hours, isn't it! If you are spending more than 10-12 hours at work, are skipping meals, lacking sleep, and do not exercise, there is not much doubt you are feeling stressed out. If you keep this pace up and you don't change a thing, you could develop a chronic disease that will force you to slow down and the consequences to your health could be worse than not working at all.
One of the main principles of yoga is to develop practices for each individual's conditions and place in life. Additionally, you can practice yoga in your office, in your room, maybe even in your car or at the airport waiting for a flight. For the person who claims they are just too busy at work, you could even do Yoga on your break if you really wanted to.
The great thing about yoga exercises is that there are specific postures & breathing techniques for almost all diseases, conditions, allergies, and types of pains. Many exercises are simple and can have a dramatic effect on your symptoms.

The following are some common ailments that Yoga exercises can help to minimize or harness the symptoms and root causes of. Its been proven over and over again that yoga can improve your life and get rid of the following:

Digestive Disorders:
Anger, fear, jealousy, anxiety, tension etc. are emotions that can influence the quality and quantity of secretions in the stomach and intestine, and can also alter the blood flow to the intestines. Many ailments of the digestive system can be traced back to the stress of our busy modern lifestyle.

Back Pain:
Many people experience milt to severe back pain due to stress. For many men it manifests itself as lower back pain. For most women, the pain is experienced in the neck. Most good chiropractors will be able to help you with this pain but one thing they don't tell you is that the stretching and relaxation involved with yoga can reduce symptoms and remove pain as well. If you suffer from back pain occasionally or chronically yoga will change your life.

Anxiety and Depression:
Many of us experience anxiety and/or depression at some point during our lives. left untreated, depression and anxiety can lead to serious diseases that will negatively impact the quality of our lives and those around us. We all need to be very aware of the potential for anxiety and depression and Yoga provides an outstanding treatment as well as an antidote for these negative influences on our lives.

Anti Aging Skin Care Product Reviews online

Since times immemorial, it has been a dream of every living soul to remain youthful throughout his or her life. People can go to any extent to ensure that their appearance remains comparable to that of an eighteen year old. Thankfully, now there are products to assist them in the pursuit for eternal youth.

A myriad of anti aging skin care products are available in supermarkets and cosmetic shops. Anything that is capable of reversing or at least arresting aging of skin can be classified as an anti aging skin care product. These include creams, lotions, pills, injections, massagers etc. It is very difficult to choose a suitable product because the variety befuddles most consumers.
Because of the ease of application and portability, anti aging creams are very popular with people concerned about aging of skin. There is no dearth of brands selling in this category either. Therefore, to ensure that you really benefit from an anti aging skin cream, you must decide which one to buy after reading anti aging cream reviews.

What you see is not what you get. Don't get duped by advertisements. Don't assume that an anti aging cream that is advertised in prime time commercials is a safe bet. Instead, take the pains to read several anti aging cream reviews before deciding whether the product is worth being tried.
Not all anti aging cream reviews are unbiased. To ensure that you are reading a review which is truthful and unbiased, make sure that you check the veracity on two counts: first whether the person writing the review is an acknowledged independent expert, and second whether facts are being reported or is the review just a piece of juxtaposed superlatives.

What should a review of an anti aging cream include? Well, it should first and foremost list the composition of the cream and explain each ingredient in detail. Second, it should explain what were the assumptions made in the conducted tests. It should then explain the results of the tests in percentage terms.

Anti aging cream reviews should also explain the variations in results obtained. For example, a wrinkle cream may produce wonderful results in a person with oily skin; however it may not be equally beneficial to a person with dry skin.
Where can you read anti aging cream reviews? Well, there are several sources where you can read such reviews. These include online forums, health magazines, and fitness related web portals. Some cosmetic industry associations also publish anti aging cream reviews in their journals.

The Best Wrinkle Cream - Which Is The Best Anti Wrinkle Cream in the Market?

The cosmetic market has been inundated with anti-aging creams that claim to arrest the visible impact of aging on the human skin. It has become difficult for the average consumers to judge for themselves what the best cream would be. Dermatologists have relied on numerous evaluations of different products to narrow down the market. Researchers have been able to award the tag of best anti-aging ingredients to help the consumer choose what is right for them. Listed here are some factors that go into benchmarking a framework for the perfect product.

Researchers choose possible candidates for anti-aging products by examining these factors: Ease of application, required duration of use for results, effects on all skin types, and price of the product are just some of the things taken into account to create the perfect product for the average user. They knew they had to take into account that the average buyer was the middle-class consumer who could not afford to go to dermatologist on a regular basis. The products however were tested in dermatologist's offices and the results were passed down to the shopper.
The primary criterion for the ideal cream was ease of application. Products that required bleaching or steaming were taken out of the selection process. People wanted a cream that was easy to apply and did not require special treatment. Efficiency was high on the list of needs from the consumer.

Another consideration was the duration of time to see results. Any cream had to materialize results in 4-6 weeks keeping in mind that the customer's patience for results wavered after the time the second purchase is finished. Most people will give a product a chance if the results are immediate, other wise the market was fickle.
The best anti-aging cream would also be adaptable to all skin types and be fit for both sexes. Most people do not go see dermatologist for their aging skin therefore rely on the tests to be able to trust the results. They also needed a product that was effective for both genders. Obviously, not all skin is created equal therefore a range of issues had to be taken into consideration for the best performance.

Researchers could not leave out the cost factor. The average consumer is middle-class with many responsibilities and average income. They were looking for results that would not eat their pocket book. To be able to sell an anti-aging product to this sector required cost effective ingredients.
There are many manufacturers today in the anti-aging market. Judging from the variety of products on the shelves today, the cosmetic industry has succeeded in finding an efficient anti-aging cream that is cost effective, and provides wrinkle removing results to the average consumer.

Anti Aging Skin Care - Take Action Now

An anti aging skin care plan works best if you want your skin to look its best during your later years. While there are many things you can do to improve the quality of your skin, some will provide instant results while others may not become evident for years.

The manner in which skin ages depends on numerous factors. These involve some that are not within our control such as our genetic makeup but the most prominent factors can be found in our lifestyle habits and routines. Although we are all destined to age with every year that passes and will wear some of the effects on our skin, there is much that we can do to prevent premature signs of aging.

Consistent moisturizing is essential if you have dry skin or any dry patches on your skin. Even skin that was once oily can become dry as time goes by. Dry skin is more common during the winter season when the air tends to be low in humidity and cold. Dryness is also quite common in dry climates. Indoor heating can also take its toll on otherwise healthy skin. One way to combat these conditions is to choose a good skin care product series designed your particular age group and skin type.

Smoking has a negative effect on the skin and smokers will tend to look older more quickly. And because the effect of smoke on the skin is external in large part, even non-smokers can suffer the consequences through second-hand smoke from those they live or associate with.

Too much exposure to the sun is also largely accountable for aging the skin. Skin can become leathery, develop dark pigment spots and grow very dry. The result is often the development of wrinkles and sagging. Protecting the skin from sun damage is very important. In addition to the obvious aging issues, over-exposure to sunlight can result in cancer.

Another great anti aging treatment is getting plenty of activity. Not only will your muscle tone improve but you'll experience increased blood circulation which helps to distribute nutrients and remove harmful toxins.

It's also a good idea to limit alcohol consumption if you want to have a nice, clear complexion. Alcohol dilates blood vessels and can cause permanent damage. The result can be redness on the skin, most commonly on the nose.

Anti-Hair Loss Shampoos

One easy-to-try option is a shampoo specifically designed to increase the health of existing hair and to reduce the rate of hair loss in both men and women.
There are several sources to investigate specific shampoos, research studies which can be accessed to determine the effectiveness of many of these products.

Good professional sources include dermatologists and licensed cosmeticians who see hair loss conditions frequently and have had the opportunity to observe
the efficacy of a variety of shampoos. As well, an Internet "Google" search will provide hundreds of products, complete with testimony and small research studies. It's easy to get confused when investigating the hundreds of shampoos available.

With some background knowledge of what has shown to be effective in larger, previous studies, however, you can make more intelligent choices about the shampoos you choose for experimentation. And that is the great thing about shampoos - they are relatively inexpensive in this maze of hair loss/regrowth methods, so you can try lots of them without breaking your budget!

1.Surfactants: People feel good when their shampoos lather up nicely. Lather, however, is just for psychological effect. Somehow we believe that the more lather a shampoo produces, the cleaner our hair must be getting. Hogwash! The ingredient that causes lather is call a surfactant and does not have cleaning properties. Other ingredients in shampoos actually do the cleaning. Surfactants are, however, pretty harsh, and, for someone who is experiencing more-than-normal hair loss, surfactants should be avoided. There are lots of shampoos out there without it - try some.

2.Herbal Ingredients: The most notable herb with some success in hair loss difficulty is Saw Palmetto. Shampoos with this ingredient are certainly worth a try. Saw Palmetto seems to inhibit the production of DHT in men, for example, and DHT causes hair follicles to shrink and close up.

3.Nettle and bay have also been helpful to some people. Shampoos which include these might help you too.

4.Essential Oils: These oils are concentrated ones which come from plants such as lavender. From ancient times, these have been used to stimulate healthy hair and to decrease the rate of hair loss. We know that we have much to learn from early medicine men and healers. Perhaps this is another example.

5.Tea Tree Oil: Many swear by this ingredient, and there are several brands of this on the market. So popular are these shampoos, you can find them at most any drug store as well as health product retailers. As an aside, tea tree oil has also been found to be effective in the prevention of head lice infestations. There are no definitive studies to show that shampoos can actually result in regrowth of hair that is caused by what we all "permanent" conditions, largely the result of heredity and hormones. However, early prevention is important, and experimenting with shampoos during these early stages may provide invaluable help in reducing the rate of loss.

Advecia as a Female Hair Loss Treatment

You may or may not know that baldness in women is as much as 25 million in the United States alone. Each female deals with losing hair in her own way. Many women do not bother with products or treatments as they are either unaware that such a product exists for women or they are unsure about the effectiveness of the current products on sale.

This problem in women is very similar to that of their male counterparts. The common culprit which can cause hair loss in both men and women goes by the term DHT, which is a chemical. Too much of the chemical DHT can result in hair falling out and usually occurs around the same time as the menopause.
The baldness is different in males compared to females. Women do not usually go completely bald. Usually, females suffer with thinning of the hair around the forehead area and around the crown of the scalp.

In females, this can sometimes just be temporary. This may be a result of side effects during pregnancy, a stress related condition and high fever/infections. Once the body is back to normal, a regrowth of hair can be expected.
But as mentioned earlier, there are treatments and products available for females experiencing losing hair, and the best ones are usually all natural formulations with no man made chemicals. This natural type of treatment is usually the best type as it is safe and can usually be taken whilst taking other prescribed medicines.

One of the best products for to help females is called Advecia. Good results have been shown in testing and research of this product and it is made from natural vitamins which have been chosen as they boost hair re growth. All the other ingredients are all natural and using this product will not cause any side effects.
There are many female hair loss products out there for sale but if you're looking for an effective and all natural female hair loss product, you should really check out Advecia.

Secrets To Preventing Hair Loss - It Works..!!

Being bald is not something people welcome. Unfortunately, the hair loss condition is very much a reality for most people today. The good thing about it, though, is that anyone can do something in preventing hair loss.

Knowing Your Hair Loss
Hair loss usually stem from the same causes. The most common type of hair loss is actually caused by genes and hormones. This is not the only type of hair loss though. These days, you can also lose your worries over stress, nutrient deficiency and tight hairstyles. The first step to preventing hair loss is to know exactly why your hair is falling. Once you know the cause, you can find the right treatment.

Diet and Exercise
Dieting and exercising may not do much if your condition is genetic or hereditary. They can however, help in preventing hair loss due to nutrient deficiency. It is a known fact that the kinds of popular food available these days are loaded with fats and carry few nutrients. It is also a fact that having less of some nutrients like iron, magnesium, zinc and B complex vitamins can cause hair fall. The best solution to this is to eat a nutritious diet. Exercising regularly will also improve your blood circulation which is crucial for the efficient distribution of nutrients to your hair.

Relaxation
Telogen effluvium is a type of hair loss in which a person suddenly suffers from temporary but profuse hair shedding. It is believed that one possible cause of this is stress. Preventing hair loss of this type may mean that you have to learn how to relax. Of course, what is relaxing for some may not be so for others. Generally though, basic relaxation techniques are also methods for preventing hair loss. You can learn basic breathing techniques or progressive muscle relaxation. Others may want to move on to higher meditation or yoga. Sometimes, a simple break from work or listening to soothing music may already be relaxing enough.

Letting Your Hair Rest
You might also lose some of your hair if you are too fond of tight hair styles like braids, pony tails and corn rolls. These hair styles can literally pull your hair strands out and may even cause scarring. Preventing hair loss of this kind is easy. You simply have to alternate your hair styles or avoid tight styles altogether.
Styling and coloring may not really cause hair loss. It is still better though not to overdo hair treatments. Using too many chemicals on your hair could cause dryness and damage. Preventing hair loss and damage simply means letting your hair rest.

Supplements
Taking hair loss supplements would also help in preventing hair loss. Good products can help provide you with whatever nutrient your body is missing. Some supplements also contain natural DHT blockers for individuals who have hair loss due to the action of DHT.

Viagra Explosion Online - Be Sure Before You Buy

Viagra, A PDE5 inhibitor has proved that it is an effective and a safe treatment for Erectile Dysfunction. Millions of people have been using Viagra worldwide. After the stupendous success of Viagra came Levitra followed by Cialis.

With the ongoing popularity of internet more and more people turned to computers for health information, advice, support and services. Selling of these drugs worldwide became even easier due to online pharmacies for people who were still uncomfortable visiting doctors and going and buying Viagra or such pills. Online pharmacies also helped those who lived in areas which were far away from the community stores.

It is advisable that problems like Erectile Dysfunction should be treated under doctor’s supervision as reasons for ED could be many. Buying Viagra online is strongly not recommended and an online diagnosis should be completely avoided as it is important to tell your doctor face to face the problem and have a written subscription for the same. Though Viagra is generally well tolerated but side effects include Headache, Flushing, Indigestion, Urinary Tract Infection, Nasal congestion and Dizziness.

After the success of Viagra many drug manufacturers launched the generic version of Viagra as Generic Viagra. Some of the variants of Generic Viagra are Kamagra, Penegra, Caverta and Silagra. All these generic versions of Viagra are available online. With stiff competition between online pharmacies one can buy generic Viagra up to 60% cheaper than the branded Viagra.

It is advised that before buying online it is important to check four to five websites and beware of fake products in the name of cheap Viagra. Many online pharmacies offer good prices like the European pharmacy, etc.

Viagra – Generic or branded, should be taken with proper consultation from the physician. It is extremely important that problems like diabetes, heart disease, blood pressure problems or any other disease should be reported to the doctor before starting on Viagra. Men taking Nitrates in any form should not be treated with Viagra.

What Makes Viagra Click

Viagra is synonymous with ED. Since its debut in 1998, it has been responsible for reviving the sexual life of millions of erectile dysfunction (ED) sufferers worldwide. The most unique feature of Viagra is that unlike previously approved treatments for impotence, Viagra does not directly cause penis erection, but affects the response to sexual stimulation. The drug acts by enhancing the smooth muscle relaxation. This smooth muscle relaxation allows increased blood flow into certain areas of the penis leading to an erection.

Most of us crave for love and romance throughout our life. Romantic opportunities occur all the time but if you are suffering from erectile dysfunction then it might hamper your sex life and act like a villain in your love life. Viagra vs. Cialis for Erectile Dysfunction

Viagra (Sildenafil) is a medicine that doctors prescribe to help men who have erectile dysfunction have sex. Erectile dysfunction is the inability of the penis to become rigid (hard), or to stay rigid long enough to finish having sex. Take Viagra 30 minutes to 1 hour before intercourse. Since many consider the hi-cost per dose of Viagra here are some Viagra Alternatives and even Female Viagra listed on the website.

Cialis (TADALAFIL) works fast - within 30 minutes in some patients - and can work up to 36 hours. That means you and your partner can be spontaneous, responding to each other sexually when the moment is right. Of course your results may vary so talk to your doctor today to see if Cialis is right for you. In clinical trials, Cialis was shown to improve the ability of men with ED to have a single successful intercourse attempt as long as 36 hours after dosing. Tadalafil has not been studied for multiple sexual attempts per dose.
Both can have definite side effects; 4 hour erections? It's definitely different for every man... try them both and observe the effects. Cialis is a younger drug so we don't know its collateral effects over the long term.
The choice is yours.

If you or someone you know is interested in purchasing Viagra you can order it in complete privacy from Online Rx Pharmacy. We are an accredited online pharmacy with US licensed pysicians. We provide FREE next day FedEx shipping on ALL your orders.

You have a desire to make love but you can’t achieve an erection. Never mind, the cause is Erectile Dysfunctionand you have treatments available today. Erectile dysfunction is a very common phenomenon and experts estimate that ED affects thirty million men in U.S.

Erectile dysfunction is just like any other physical debility, do not categorize it as a sexual problem, doing this will make yours as well as your partner’s life hell, and ultimately you will end up breaking your blooming relationship.

Before moving any further, it is necessary to explain what ED actually is- Also termed as impotence, erectile dysfunction is defined as the lack of ability to achieve or sustain erection compulsory for sexual gratification. ED is poles apart from other tribulations interfering sexual intercourse, such as lack of sexual desires, and problems linked with ejaculation or orgasm.

Cialis and Its Variant: Generic Cialis

Cialis (Tadalfil) is in a class of drugs called phophodiesterase inhibitors. FDA approved Tadalfil – Cialis in 2003 for the treatment of men who experience difficulty having and maintaining an erection.
Cialis (Tadalfil), an oral treatment for Erectile Dysfunction (ED) in men, is a selective inhibitor of cyclic quanosine monophosphate (cGMP) - specific phophodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5).

Cialis is available in the form of tablets which contains 5, 10 or 20 mg of Tadalfil and inactive ingredients like croscarmellose sodium, hydroxpropyl cellulose, hypromellose, iron oxide, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulphate, talc, titanium dioxide and triacetin.
Recommended dose of Cialis in most patients is 10mg taken prior to sexual intercourse. Both Cialis and Viagra work in the same way, by helping blood vessels in the penis to relax allowing blood to flow into the penis causing an erection.

Cialis is slightly different from the other ED drugs available in the market as it may work up to 36 hrs after dosing.

Cialis is available online with various sites offering cheap Cialis. Forzest is the Indian answer to Cialis and is manufactured by Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. Forzest is same as Tadalfil and is also known as Generic Cialis.
When a doctor prescribes and while buying it on the net there may be a choice between a brand – name medicine and the generic version of that medicine.

Generic Cialis is available online and one can buy generic Cialis from these legal sites. There are variants of Generic Cialis available in the market – they are called generic Cialis or generic Tadalfil. They have the same composition as the branded Cialis. One can buy generic drugs as they only may look different because in the US, FDA does not allow it to look the same. Colors, flavors and certain other inactive ingredients may be different but the core ingredient remains the same.

As most of the drugs fall under the patent law many companies are lining up to manufacture generic forms of the brand name drugs going off patent. Many Indian companies are in the race for regulatory approval to introduce medicines in the highly lucrative North American market.

Precaution Vital Before Taking Cialis

No doubt, Cialis offers what no other drug has offered before. Unlike Viagra, Cialis stays in the blood for much longer duration of time, thereby ensuring prolonged ecstatic hours. However, with soaring popularity, the misuse of the drug was bound to occur at some point of time.

Cialis quickly gained the nickname of 'le weekender' in Paris due to its fabulous results. The party freaks used to pop the pill and in the process, abused the drug. Cialis is strictly meant as a prescription pill for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction in men. It is not an aphrodisiac or a sex pill. Cialis cannot make you high in a party like other drugs (like ecstasy). On the contrary, an un-prescribed use of the drug can do considerable damage to the vital organs of the body.

Even if you are prescribed Cialis by the doctor, you must absolutely stick to the prescription schedule. Never try to gain extra benefits by overdosage. Overdosage will have the same effect as that in case of drug abuse. In case of overdosage, promptly seek medical help.

The manufacturers of the drug have also published certain contraindications applicable to Cialis. For instance, Cialis is not prescribed in case the patients are using nitrates or alpha-blockers. For breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women also, Cialis is not advised. However, it is highly unlikely that the effects of drug could be transferred to the child but even a small chance could prove fatal, if it actually happens.

More Pleasure With Cialis

Impotent men never had it so good. Viagra pioneered the oral treatment for Erectile Dysfunction. And the baton, it seems, has been transferred to Cialis. In between, Levitra also made its presence felt. But Cialis is the future drug that has the world on its feet.

Manufactured by Pharmaceutical giant Eli Lily and Company, Cialis (tadalafil) got the approval of US FDA in November 2003 as the latest oral treatment pill for Erectile Dysfunction. The male sexual health got a boost with Cialis showing a marked improvement over its predecessors.

Cialis has everything going for it. It works in double quick time. Generally, it takes about 15-30 minutes for Cialis to show its effects, after intake. As with every other approved drug in this category, Cialis also works only when the body is sexually aroused. Cialis stays in the body for hyper-extended hours (36 hours in some cases!!). What does it mean? It translates into prolonged sexual pleasure with both the partners making up for the lost time.

The sudden transformation from sexual depravity to maximum sexual satisfaction leaves a lasting but pleasant effect on the psyche of patient and his partner. Cialis becomes their most trusted ally. Cialis increases the blood supply to the penis area thereby, facilitating a sufficiently long and lasting erection. Due to prolonged effect, the romance between the partners, which was threatening to get disrupted of late, finds a renewed vigor. The sense of belongingness increases with every encounter induced by Cialis.

Cialis is an effective drug approved for the treatment of impotence in men. Impotence or Erectile Dysfunction refers to difficulty in having and maintaining an erection.

Cialis relaxes muscles within the penis. It works by allowing an increase of blood flow into the penis. This increased blood flow into certain internal areas of the penis results in an erection.
Differentiation from other ED treatment drugs

As compared to other ED treatment drugs, Cialis remains in the body for a very long period, thus enhancing its effectiveness. However, there are no statistics to prove its safety or side effects in comparison to other drugs.

Intake of Cialis
Cialis is available in the form of a tablet and can be easily taken orally before sexual activity. However, the dose and frequency may differ from individual to individual. One may need to check with a doctor to confirm dose.

The most common side effects observed includes headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle pain, flushing, and stuffy nose. Back pain and muscle aches are less severe effects and typically go away within 12 to 24 hours of intake of Cialis. A small number of patients consuming Cialis may also feel abnormal vision. However, this is very rare. In case it happens, call for a doctor immediately. Cialis may be dangerous for some patients taking nitrates (such as nitroglycerin tablets or patches) or any alpha blocker daily should be aware not to take Cialis under any situation. This may prove fatal for their lives. This is because the combination of these drugs with Cialis results in a significantly lower blood pressure, thus leading to fainting or even death. Anyone can buy Cialis from an online Cialis pharmacy. It is cheap and easily available.

Electrolysis Compared to Laser Hair Removal

How well does electrolysis work compared to laser hair removal? Electrolysis is the old heavy hitter in the world of hair permanent hair removal. The process destroys hair at the roots using needles and electricity, has been around in one form or another since the late 19thcentury and gained popularity throughout the 20th century. Not until the 1990's did a new technology arrive to rival electrolysis as a means of lasting hair removal.

This new hair removal technique was called laser hair removal or photoepilation. Laser hair removal was a more modern approach to lasting hair removal through the destruction of hair at its root. Since then, hair removal by laser has become the aesthetician and dermatologist's new best friend with many providers doing landmark business removing hair for males and females alike. Food and Drug Administration approved and widely accepted among dermatologists as an efficient means of hair removal, it is no surprise to see laser has risen quickly in popularity.

Each approach possesses unique benefits and drawbacks. Electrolysis offers truly permanent hair removal-a claim supported by the FDA-but, it is expensive, time consuming and therefore works best on small areas of the body. This fact leaves electrolysis ideal for the upper lip and eyebrows, but not a practical solution for removal of hair on the back or legs. Meanwhile, laser easily covers large portions of the body, but requires several sessions and primarily reduces and lightens hair growth rather than removing it on a permanent basis.

Additionally, until recently, laser worked best for the removal of dark hair from light skinned people. People with dark hair and dark skin or those of a fairer complexion could expect mixed or even limited results under the laser. Advances continue to be made, but electrolysis remains the most effective permanent hair removal option for the aforementioned groups of groups of individuals.

Stretch Marks

After giving birth to my first child, I was devastated at how my body had changed. I was horrified when I looked in the mirror at my once perfect body, with firm pointy breasts, small waist, flat stomach and flawless, smooth skin. I couldn't believe that my breasts were etched with rivers of stretch marks and three times their previous size. My once taut stomach and thighs were now covered with stretch marks and giggled as I attempted to put on my panties.

All I could think about was discarding my revealing, sexy, hot-momma clothes, and if I ever had sex again-at least the rapist would not be interested in seeing my marred body. I uncontrollably cried, as the nurse assured me that I was only experiencing postpartum depression. After months of adoring my beautiful baby, I realized that those lines told a wonderful story of how my body changed to adapt to the growing life inside of me. These lines were the beginning of a new chapter in my life.

One of the most ironic aspects of having a baby is that although my body had performed the ultimate epitome of womanhood, to supply the nourishment that allows a fetus to develop into a human being and give birth, I never felt more ugly, fat and unattractive. Many doctors and nurses describe the emotional changes that women go through after childbirth as postpartum depression. The Oxford Medical Dictionary describes postpartum depression as, "An emotional psychiatric conditions that occurs after childbirth. It is characterized by symptoms that range from mild to intense, suicidal depressive psychosis."

I don't have a medical background, but I believe that postpartum depression is partially caused by the mass media that constantly bankrupts a woman's self-esteem and self-worth with advertisements that promote cosmetic surgery and anti-aging products. It is very difficult for the average woman to accept, love and value herself in a society that continuously bombards her with messages of being inadequate and not-beautiful-enough to be a valued member of society. The nurse insisted that I was experiencing a hormonal imbalance, but I knew why I was depressed. I was sad because I knew that my life would never be the same.
Yes, for the most part, being a new mother is a joyous occasion, but many things about my lifestyle would change forever.

The physical changes during and after my pregnancy forced me to look at my body with a totally new perspective; mother nature rudely informed me that my breasts were not only for sexual pleasure, especially when my breasts were filled with milk and began to ache. Let's not even begin to think about the vaginal stitches after childbirth (episiotomy). The essence of my feminine body was directly connected with nature-the continuation of life. My body provided the tunnel of which life flowed into the physical world. I realized that for me, sex was not just an act of love, affection, or pure romantic pleasure; but that my body could bring to fruition the essence of two human beings. And although, my husband could walk away from our love, our life and our baby, I could not. My body not only provided the avenue, but the foundation that would provide all of the necessities to sustain the life of our child.

In spite of the fact that I was proud of my body's ability to give birth, after the pregnancy was over, I didn't want any visible signs on my body that indicated to me or others that a developing life was once inside of my belly. For some reason, in the American culture, women brag about not physically looking as if we ever had a baby. I remember thinking once that the ultimate compliment that I received was from a teenage girl who said to me, "You don't look like a mother." It's funny how we accept hickeys (passion marks) to symbolize physical desire from our mate, and let's be honest, are hickeys really physically attractive? Sororities and fraternities brand their members as a symbol of unity. Solders are proud of their battle wounds. Unfortunately, most women want to erase any signs of ever being pregnant or giving birth.

CANCER TREATMENT

Experimental cancer treatments are medical therapies intended or claimed to treat cancer (see also tumor) by improving on, supplementing or replacing conventional methods (surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy).

The entries listed below vary between theoretical therapies to unproven controversial therapies. Many of these treatments are alleged to only help against specific forms of cancer. It is not a list of treatments widely available at hospitals.

Angiostatic-based treatments
Every solid tumor (in contrast to liquid tumors like leukemia) needs to generate blood vessels to keep it alive once it reaches a certain size. Usually, blood vessels are not built elsewhere in an adult body unless tissue repair is actively in process. The anti-angiogenesis (angiostatic) agent endostatin and related chemicals can suppress the building of blood vessels, preventing the cancer from growing indefinitely. In tests with patients, the tumor became inactive and stayed that way even after the endostatin treatment was finished. The treatment has very few side effects but appears to have very limited selectivity. Other angiostatic agents like thalidomide and natural plant-based substances are being actively investigated.

Dichloroacetate (DCA) Treatment
Cancer cells generally use glycolysis rather than oxidation for energy (the Warburg effect), as a result of hypoxia in tumors and damaged mitochondria.[1] The body often kills damaged cells by apoptosis, a mechanism of self-destruction that involves mitochondria, but this mechanism fails in cancer cells.
A study published in January 2007 by researchers at the University of Alberta,[2] testing DCA on in vitro cancer cell lines and a rat model, found that DCA restored mitochondrial function, thus restoring apoptosis, killing cancer cells in vitro, and shrinking the tumors in the rats.

Bacterial treatments
Chemotherapeutic drugs have a hard time penetrating tumors to kill them at their core because these cells may lack a good blood supply. Researchers have been using anaerobic bacteria, such as Clostridium novyi, to consume the interior of oxygen-poor tumours. These should then die when they come in contact with the tumour's oxygenated sides, meaning they would be harmless to the rest of the body. A major problem has been that bacteria don't consume all parts of the malignant tissue. However combining the therapy with chemotheraputic treatments can help to solve this problem. Another strategy is to use anaerobic bacteria that have been transformed with an enzyme that can convert a non-toxic prodrug into a toxic drug. With the proliferation of the bacteria in the necrotic and hypoxic areas of the tumour the enzyme is expressed solely in the tumour. Thus a systemically applied prodrug is metabolised to the toxic drug only in the tumour. This has been demonstrated to be effective with the non pathogenic anaerobe Clostridium sporogenes.

Gene therapy
Introduction of tumor suppressor genes into rapidly dividing cells has been thought to slow down or arrest tumor growth. Another use of gene therapy is the introduction of enzymes into these cells that make them susceptible to particular chemotherapy agents; studies with introducing thymidine kinase in gliomas, making them susceptible to aciclovir, are in their experimental stage.

Telomerase therapy
Because most malignant cells rely on the activity of the protein telomerase for their immortality, it has been proposed that a drug which inactivates telomerase might be effective against a broad spectrum of malignancies. At the same time, most healthy tissues in the body express little if any telomerase, and would function normally in its absence.
A number of research groups have experimented with the use of telomerase inhibitors in animal models, and as of 2005 and 2006 phase I and II human clinical trials are underway. Geron Corporation, is currently conducting two clinical trials involving telomerase inhibitors. One uses a vaccine (GRNVAC1) and the other uses a lipidated drug.

Thermotherapy
Localized application of heat has been proposed as a technique for the treatment of malignant tumours. Intense heating will cause denaturation and coagulation of cellular proteins, rapidly killing cells within a tumour.

More prolonged moderate heating to temperatures just a few degrees above normal can cause more subtle changes. A mild heat treatment combined with other stresses can cause cell death by apoptosis. There are many biochemical consequences to the heat shock response within in cell, including slowed cell division and increased sensitivity to ionizing radiation therapy.
There are many techniques by which heat may be delivered. Some of the most common involve the use of focused ultrasound (FUS or HIFU), microwave heating, induction heating, or direct application of heat through the use of heated saline pumped through catheters. Experiments have been done with carbon nanotubes that selectively bind to cancer cells. Lasers are then used that pass harmlessly through the body, but heat the nanotubes, causing the death of the cancer cells. Similar results have also been achieved with other types of nanoparticles including gold-coated nanoshells and nanorods which exhibit certain degrees of 'tunability' of the absorption properties of the nanoparticles to the wavelength of light for irradiation. The success of this approach to cancer treatment rests on the existence of an 'optical window' in which biological tissue (i.e,. healthy cells) are completely transparent at the wavelength of the laser light while nanoparticles are highly absorbing at the same wavelength. Such a 'window' exists in the so-called near infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum. In this way, the laser light can pass through the system without harming healthy tissue and only diseased cells, where the nanoparticles reside, get hot and are killed.

One of the challenges in thermal therapy is delivering the appropriate amount of heat to the correct part of the patient's body. A great deal of current research focuses on precisely positioning heat delivery devices (catheters, microwave and ultrasound applicators, etc.) using ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging, as well as of developing new types of nanoparticles that make them particularly efficient absorbers while offering little or no concerns about toxicity to the circulation system. Clinicians also hope to use advanced imaging techniques to monitor heat treatments in real time—heat-induced changes in tissue are sometimes perceptible using these imaging instruments.

Diet therapy
In the late 1940s, German-born physician Dr. Max Gerson proposed a therapy claimed to be successful in the treatment of advanced cancer, normalizing metabolism and helping the body's immune system act on cancer cells. It is a high potassium, low sodium (saltless) diet, with no fats or oils, and high in fresh raw fruits and vegetables and their juices. (See for instance the lecture [1], and the book A Cancer Therapy: Results of Fifty Cases, by Max Gerson, M.D.) (ISBN 0-9611526-2-1). Other scientists give credence to published accounts of such treatments to suppress the growth rate of cancer, despite general disagreement on the underlying mechanisms.

As with Max Gerson, Johanna Budwig proposed another diet therapy claimed to treat cancer. Most oncologists have a belief that a diet alone cannot treat cancer. Reports of dramatic remissions as a result of the Budwig diet are anecdotal, and not supported by peer-reviewed research. (On the other hand, her diet is good from a nutritional point of view to counteract some side-effects of other treatments.) Some basic research on flax oil (preferred by Budwig) is available: [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]
Unfortunately, the proponents of this approach have been consistently unable to produce a single surviving patient who meets all of these criteria:

was diagnosed by an independent oncologist instead of by a proponent,
actually appears to have been cured, and
did not undergo conventional cancer therapies which could reasonably explain the successful treatment.

Insulin potentiation therapy
In insulin potentiation therapy (IPT), insulin is given in conjunction with low-dose chemotherapy. Its proponents claim insulin therapy increases the uptake of chemotherapeutic drugs by malignant cells, permitting the use of lower total drug doses and reducing side effects.
Some In vitro studies have demonstrated the principle of IPT [7][8] .

The first clinical trial of IPT for treating breast cancer was done in Uruguay and published in 2003/2004. Insulin combined with low-dose methotrexate (a chemotherapy drug) resulted in greatly increased stable disease, and much reduced progressive disease, compared with insulin or low-dose methotrexate alone. Although the study was very small (30 women, 10 per group), the results appear to be very promising
